Gift Cards, Travel Experiences and eLearning Products
Please ensure you read and fully understand the 'Important Information' displayed on the Booking/Purchase page for all Gift cards, Travel Experiences and Digital Media before proceeding. This will include any supplier specific important information such as cancellation policies, check-in, download instructions and any general policies and validity. It is Account members responsibility to carefully read how the website works, and the strict processes and policies that govern the booking, transactional process and customer experience and communication when you use our digital self-serve platform.
IMPORTANT: If you fail to provide accurate and truthful information regarding your member account name, contact details, domicile residency, nationality, residential location, and any transactional location you provide on this website does not match any proof of ID and account details, or if you have signed up for multiple accounts (which is strictly prohibited), your transaction will be voided, your account(s) will be deactivated. We reserve the right to request two forms of ID as part of our standard compliance checks. If you have used a temporary or disposable email address to sign up for an account or as contact details for bookings, your booking/transaction will be voided, and your account(s) will be deactivated without further notice by the Compliance and Risk Team. Failure to provide accurate and truthful information is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of use of the website and Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Please make sure you have the necessary Inoculations, Travel Insurance (including trip cancelation/travel disruption/personal injury cover) and any required Personal Protection Equipment, Visa or Health Certificate, valid Covid-19 Test results for proof as required for entry in certain countries and passport and proof of ID documents as required to check in or travel to the location of your booking. TripGift shall not be liable in any form for any failure in the completion of your trip as a result of you not having any of the necessary or essential requirements for your trip. You are required and responsible to check before you complete your purchase on the TripGift affiliated brand websites that you have right of travel in all destinations in the event of a connecting flight. TripGift will not be responsible or liable for any Refunds or Credits that may arise under these circumstances.
1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all Digital Content (all gift card codes, i.e. *eGift Card(s) or eGift codes, Discount Vouchers, e-Ticket, e-Voucher, Reward e-Vouchers, Digital Media (eProducts) including eLearning and eLanguage courses supplied through the site at www.tripgift.com. Please read them carefully, they do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
We may change these terms and conditions without notice to you in relation to future sales.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICE AND OUR CONTRACT
TripGift provides consumers and businesses with a Worldwide service to Give and Receive the gift of Travel, Experiences & Digital Media and make booking transactions.
tripgift.com together with its Worldwide Travel Experiences and Digital Media suppliers provides a secure online and mobile platform through which real-time search, comparison, and bookings are executed for Accommodation, Package Tours, Flights, Car Rental, Airport Transfers additionally we also offer a vast range of digital media content for purchase. All *Gift Card(s) and Reward e-Vouchers for TripGift are valid only for use directly at tripgift.com.
For all Travel Experiences TripGift provides a service as an intermediary between you and the Travel, Lifestyle Experiences, Digital Media Content providers. We do not provide the end user experience of our suppliers, the full booking details of your reservation are sent to the relevant suppliers and we will email you confirmation, and where required on behalf of the supplier an e-Ticket, e-Voucher or digital code will also be sent to you via email.
Please note we do not allow for Adults to book for minors traveling on their own, currently our suppliers do not allow this functionality, due to risk and compliance we cannot accommodate such requests. In the event of a booking failing due to this circumstance we will issue a credit to rebook a compliant booking option.
For Digital Media you will be sent a link to download or access the relevant Digital Media Content you have selected and purchased. Before every purchase you will be required to accept any additional Terms and Conditions of our suppliers before you can complete your transaction.
TripGift is a unique digital self-serve platform operating globally with approved third party contractual compliant suppliers for your maximum security and safety, with unrestricted content choice, maximum booking flexibility, multi-currency payment options and split gift card payment transactional convenience and is not a discounted travel or price comparison travel website.
Due to the dynamic nature of Travel pricing every travel website around the world offers different prices subject to their supplier contracts, technical capabilities and business affiliations, for this reason TripGift are unable to price match with any other websites.
In some instances there may be the occasional special offer from specific third party travel brands (with restricted booking conditions) who are only offering this special deal when you book direct, with no payment option to pay via a gift card outside of their individual brand offering.
Our digital self-serve platform is set up to offer maximum choice to show all available products regardless if the price is more expensive than booking with any third party travel providers direct, with the added convenience to pay using TripGift gift cards. Which may mean it displays at a much higher price, rather than stating it is not available to book at all.
Please allow a lead time of a minimum of 5 days to make a booking online. For this reason same day bookings cannot be supported as the lead time for Bookings and check-in is 5 days.
For any gift card(s) purchased directly through this website, please allow up to 3-5 working days for processing and activation of the gift card(s).
In the event that you make a booking for any Goods or services including Flights, Hotels, Package Tour, Car Rental, Airport Transfer that is time sensitive, it is your sole responsibility to arrive a minimum of 30 mins (for Flights 90 minutes) before the stated local Departure or Arrival time or as specified. Any no shows will be subject to 100% booking fee charge. In the event of a no show all bookings are non-refundable and non-amendable at this stage. If your booking is non-refundable or non-amendable we are unable to make any changes and it is your sole responsibility for you to contact the supplier directly before your check in date to see if they will allow an amendment to their strict booking policy and guidelines. For all Airline tickets unless stated otherwise seat allocation and baggage can only be booked directly using the Airlines website once you enter your PNR and booking details. For Car Rental bookings for pick ups and returns at airports all Car Rental companies require a major credit card for verification and incidentals on arrival at pick up.
Important information:
If in the event your specific Flight time, Room type, Car Rental vehicle, Tour Experience provider is not available due to limited availability, supplier feed discrepency, forced change, property name change, rate change error or possible health impact related reasons, that may in turn impact availability for your requested dates either booked online or as a special request executed offline, we will proceed to book the next best available product and rate for your selected date and package with the specific supplier at the rate available due to the limited availability and pricing to secure your booking, without prior written notice. If we fail to rebook we will issue a full refund credit to rebook.
tripgift.com processes transactions via *Gift Card(s) code redemption. In addition, if you have exceeded the balance on your *Gift Card(s) you may purchase any additional items on the website using a valid credit or debit card accepted on tripgift.com or if you have signed up for an account you can purchase any item using a credit or debit card payment.
Important note: You can only transact in the currency of the gift card that you intend to use.
Once you have placed your order by clicking the ‘Pay Now’ button, this acts as an offer to purchase the gift code, or book and purchase your Travel Experiences and Digital Media content. If you are the recipient, you may also use the multi-payment basket function to use the full value of the *Gift Card(s) code and settle any outstanding balance on your debit or credit card. If the balance on your *Gift Card(s) is not redeemed in full the remaining balance shall be valid until the expiration. No contract exists between you ‘the Customer’ and TripGift for the sale of the digital content until we have accepted your order and sent you the confirmation to the email address you have provided. Once we have sent you the confirmation of order with the supplier booking reference, this forms a binding legal contract between us.
In relation to eGift cards the Category number and **expiration period will clearly be communicated on each eGift card. It is your sole responsibility to keep track of the expiry date that will have been clearly communicated to you in your eGift card code email, voucher, sms or gift certificate, we highly recommend that you keep this safe and set reminders where possible. You will be sent the link for the Terms and Conditions relevant to the specific *Gift Card(s) you have purchased and/or received. There are 3 Categories of *Gift Card(s) these are as follows:
Category 1: Consumer - North America (**for residents within North America).
Category 2: Consumer - Rest of the World (for residents outside of North America).
Category 3: B2B/B2E for Businesses Worldwide.
Please check the Category on your individual *Gift Card(s), each category has an associated **expiration date, this is clearly displayed on the eGift card. In the event that you fail to use the balance before the displayed expiration date, any outstanding balance will be deducted in full.
In the unlikely event of an issue or dispute relating to the payment process or for any queries and complaints relating to bookings or purchases, please contact our Customer Support Team using the contact form on the Contact us page.
Important: Any customers who are deemed to be Annonymizer users or who have used a temporary or disposable email address will have their Account and transactions automatically declined by our payment service provider and Compliance team.
All *Gift Card(s) code values are bearer instruments, as once purchased *Gift Card(s) codes can be duplicated or shared with third parties after the sale, and potentially redeemed by any third party, order cancellation by Bulk Order, API or eCommerce is not possible and cannot be exchanged or replaced with any third party source of distribution of existing Bulk Order, API or eCommerce ordered Gift Card(s) Codes (see paragraph 6 below).
eGift Card codes cannot be cancelled or exchanged for cash or sold for use with third parties. Any eGift Card codes that have been deemed to have been resold via any unidentified or unauthorised third party reseller shall be invalid and the amount held on those eGift Card codes will be voided. There will be no liability for any eGift Card codes which have been deemed invalid or voided due to any breach of the Terms and Conditions of the Website and the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
In no event will the liability for any claims exceed the value of any individual eGift card purchase or any individual eGift card or combined individual Recipient purchase.
3. DESCRIPTION AND PRICE OF THE DIGITAL CONTENT
The description and price of the digital content you order will be as shown on the website when you place your order.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.
The price of the digital content and delivery charges are inclusive of any applicable VAT. In addition, it will be clearly stated how long you can access the Digital Media products for following purchase of either the 6 month or 12 month access products from date of purchase.
4. PAYMENT
Payment for the digital content and delivery charges can be made via any method shown on the website at the time you place your order. Up to 2 eGift card codes can be used per transaction, you can only transact on a gift card in the currency of the gift card, therefore you will need to make sure that the currency option at the top of the page is set to the currency of your gift card, otherwise your transaction cannot be completed. The maximum value a consumer user can purchase on our website in a 24 hour period is $10,000 or local currency equivalent, the maximum number of Gift cards in this same period that can be purchased is four (4). All transactions are subject to additional indentification and verification as required by our compliance and risk team. Only one Discount Voucher can be used per transaction. Discount Vouchers are one time use only and cannot be used in conjunction with a gift card. Important note: It is not possible to retrospectively add a gift card to a payment that has already been processed and completed. Gift cards must be used at the time of completing the booking.
In the event that full payment has not been receieved in full due to a subsequent chargeback or any end user or technical error with any third party payment system, we reserve the right to cancel any transaction and booking unless full payment has been received within 3 days of written notification from our Customer Success Team.
Important note: Discount Vouchers and eGift card codes cannot be used together, in any event eGift card codes will override the Discount Voucher.
5. DELIVERY
All digital content will specify delivery is via email, as shown on the website at the time you place your order. It is important you provide the correct email address for delivery; we will not be liable for any failure by you in providing the wrong email address for delivery.
We will not be liable for any delay in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible.
eGift cards are normally delivered instantly.
For all Business-to-Business Bulk or Custom order eGift code requests, (subject to the complexity or scale of the order) will be delivered securely within 1-5 working days.
Upon delivery to the email address specified you become the legal owner of the digital content ordered, and therein are responsible for the risk, loss or damage to your order once it has been delivered to you, or a person identified by you to accept delivery referred to as ‘the Recipient’.
6. YOUR RIGHT OF CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
You do not have the right to cancel the contract (i.e. no refunds or exchange or replacement Gift Card(s) Codes) if the order is for the supply of certain digital content, including: Gift Card Codes ordered through Bulk Order, API or eCommerce, Hotel booking vouchers, Car rental booking vouchers, Airport transfer booking vouchers, Event and Tour booking vouchers, Flight booking vouchers and digital media content that are made to your personal or business specifications, or are clearly personalised; digital content that is liable to deteriorate, expire rapidly or periodicals. Unless specified changes are permitted subject to the suppliers terms and conditions communicated to you at the time of purchase for e-Vouchers, e-Tickets for the supply of flights, accommodation, car rental, dining services or leisure services for a specific date or period; package travel, holidays / vacations, event tickets and tours; and passenger transport services, all force majeure cancellations (approved by our suppliers by satisfactory proof provided by you to our suppliers) will be issued as stored credit to your Account to allow you to rebook your future trip. In addition to any required suppliers’ costs for amendments or cancellations there will be a standard change/amendment Admin and Third-party processing fee of US$50 per person per booking in the US and €50 per person per booking outside of the US for any changes or cancellations to a Travel or Experience related booking for Administration and Transaction Processing fees. Once Gift Card Codes have been ordered no circumnavigation shall be permitted with any third party companies to replace or exchange Gift Card Codes once issued and delivered.
Please note you must allow a minimum of 48 hours to resolve any cancelation or amendment request before the deadline set by the suppliers, in order to allow the processing and full execution of your request. Any failure to comply will result in a no show booking status.
In the event of a booking cancellation which has been accepted as a refund regardless of the payment method or type of cards used, all refunds are issued as stored credit if paid or part paid by gift cards, if payment has been made by credit or debit card standard change/amendment Admin and Third-party processing fee of US$50 per person per booking in the US and €50 per person per booking outside of the US shall be applied, subject to acceptance by our suppliers, if a gift card code has been used to complete the transaction, online or offline, this will be subject to the gift card being valid within the eGift card validity period when issued.
7. VALIDITY OF A TRIPGIFT EGIFT CARD CODE AND CUSTOMER BOOKINGS
TripGift reserves the right to block / deactivate / void any gift card, transaction and Member Account for which the payment has been cancelled, not received or suspected of Fraudulent or illegal use including and not limited to (false user account details or customer booking names), Money Laundering, Human Trafficking, Modern Slavery, Terrorist Funding, Bribery, Corruption, using an Anonymous proxy or Arbitrage. TripGift does not permit sale of its gift cards to secondary markets for resale. All gift cards in this instance shall be voided with immediate effect and bookings or transactions will not be honoured.
In the event of multiple bookings or purchases that have not been paid for in full, TripGift reserves the right to cancel these bookings without prior notice and any suspected incidents will be reported to the relevant authorities.
In the event of cancellations where the Gift card validity has expired, no refund will be processed for the amount paid by the Gift card.
Once an eGift card has been issued to a recipient the transfer of an eGift card to another person or persons other than the original recipient by exchange, sale or any other means is strictly prohibited and will result in the eGift card being voided. Any resulting transaction or booking will not be honoured, if identified retrospectively.
Important information to avoid eGift cards being voided.
TripGift operates in 103 currencies and with the associated currency related countries, an eGift card can only be redeemed (including customer booking details) by domiciled residents of the currency issued i.e. Recipients of a USD eGift card can only be redeemed by US based (domiciled) residents and selected countries that exist outside of the 103 currencies that TripGift currently operates. If you wish to find out the selected countries list where any of the non-domiciled residents can redeem one of the available 103 currencies and which specific countries and currencies or you wish to request to redeem your local currency available within the 103 currencies that TripGift operates please contact the Issuer of your gift card to request for more details on how this can be done. If you are a resident of one of the countries covered within the 103 currencies that TripGift operates this means you can only redeem a gift card (including customer booking details) in the currency where you are a domiciled resident, this does not affect where in the world you can book to travel, your address and customer booking details, your Account details or ID if requested must match the currency and the associated country of the currency that you are transacting in.
USD quasi-official nation residents, which include 5 territories and 7 sovereign countries that use USD as their official currency of exchange, these approved countries include:
USA, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guam, Virgin Islands of the United States, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, Palau, Marshall Islands. Quasi-currency use of USD in: The British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Sint Maarten, St Kitts and Nevis, the ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and the BES Islands including Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba, Belize, Panama and Nicaragua and selected Business to Business (only) partnership approved countries.
EURO covers 19 EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain, including many of their overseas territories, such as the Azores, the Canaries, Ceuta and Melilla, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Madeira, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy, and Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City use the euro as their national currency, in agreement with the EU. Several countries and territories use the euro as their de facto currency such as Kosovo and Montenegro.
The following new 69 additional currencies are now available for travel bookings and gift card redemptions, and they are not available for direct individual consumer purchase of the below listed currency gift cards on our websites.
Please note: The below listed currencies are available for gift card purchases strictly for Business to Business Bulk orders and Business to Business API fulfilment purchases only.
Central African CFA franc - XAF only XAF currency can be redeemed by domiciled residents within its region
East Caribbean Dollar - XCD only XCD currency can be redeemed by domiciled residents within its region
West African CFA franc - XOF only XOF currency can be redeemed by domiciled residents within its region
Use of a gift card in USD, EUR, GBP and any of the 86 other currencies of gift cards in the following countries for any transaction whatsoever is prohibited, unless specified otherwise:

XAF can only be redeemed by residents domiciled in six independent states in Central Africa: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon
XCD can only be redeemed by residents domiciled in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla and Montserrat.
Cards cannot be shipped/emailed/issued to the countries listed above unless it is the currency of the country from the selection of 68 currencies that TripGift offers.

8. DATA PROTECTION
Our customers’ security is of paramount importance; we therefore take all necessary precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure.
We never sell or rent any Customer Account details to any third parties. For further details of how we deal with your personal information and keep it secure, please see our Privacy Policy.
You can edit some information about yourself in the Members Area which will require a verification process, or request for information about yourself to be deleted by giving written notice to tripgift.com using the contact form.
9. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions and the supply of the digital content will be subject to English Law and the English Courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.

** Subject to any applicable Country and local State law and any required residual refund balances in certain Countries and States.
